A squirrel leaping from tree to tree
The dolphin swimming the azure sea.
I yearn to know -
The glow of love within my soul
Companionship as I grow old.
The warmth of friends banishing the cold
The meaning of life without being told.
I ache to find -
Tranquility within my mind
An oasis of calm in the desert of life.
An island of hope in the ocean of time
And a way to Mekkah before I die.
I long to see -
People freed from fear and savagery
Creatures saved from lives of misery.
The light of Allah coming for me
As I enter a realm of complete liberty.
All these things I dream to be...
